Day: 01

Route: Airport –Leh(By Air) 5-7 KMs

Place Covered: Shanti Stupa and Leh Place ( with 3 KMs radius)

Night stay: Leh, Hotel Altitute : (11562 i.e. 3524 mts )

Distance/Time taken:5 – 6 km.(30 minutes Drive Approx)

Arrival on Leh Airport you will be met our representative and drive towards. Meet & greet and transfer to the Hotel. Welcome drink on arrival. We recommend you completely relax for the rest of the day to enable yourself to acclimatise to the rarefied air at the high altitude.

Late afternoon visit to Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace.

Shanti Stupa: Located on the hilltop at Changspa. The Stupa was Constructed by a Japanese Buddhist Organisation in year 1991, known as The Japanese for World Peace’ the aim behind the construction of the Stupa was to commemorate 2500 years of Buddhism and to Promote World Peace

Leh Palace: Built in the17th century, it was built as the residential Palace for the King Singee Namgyal. Leh palace is now in ruins. It has nine storeys. It was the home of the royal family until them were exiled to Stok in 1830s. Over Night stay in Leh.

Day: 02

Route: Sham valley sightseeing

Place covered: Leh - Hall of fame ( 4 KMs) Gurudwara Pattar Sahib (21 Kms) – Magnetic hill (2 KMs) , Sangma ( 3 KMs) -Alchi (40 KMs) ,

Night stay: Leh,Hotel Altitute: (11562 i.e.3524mts)

Distance/Time Taken: 70 km one way (6 to 7 hrs including Sightseeing)

Explore Leh  the city of Mountains  to visit as Hall of Fame ,Gurudwara pathar sahib ,Mag hill  Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers  Alichi Monestry on a Full day Tour 

The Hall of Fame, located near the Leh Airfiled, is a museum  constructed as well as maintained by the Indian Army in the memory of the soldiers who had lost their lives during the Indo-Pak wars. It is also termed as a memorial for the  war heros

Magnetic Hill-Then travel to  Magnet Hill is a "gravity hill" The layout of the area and surrounding slopes creates  an optical illusion that the downhill road is actually an uphill road 

Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers ( Sangam) is a 3 kilometer  drive from Magnetic Hill and is the confluence of the rivers Indus and Zanskar. Just  the view of Sangam Valley from the road above it can make you swoon in ecstasy. The colours of the two rivers can be distinctly seen at the confluence

Alchi Monastery -This is a beautiful learning centre just 68 km from Leh city. You can spot it on the southern banks of the Indus river via the Leh-Kargil road from Saspol. You shall be amazed by the murals which belong to the 11th century and all of the excellent paintings that are an inspiration derived from the Buddhist Kashmir, have lunch here and drive back to Leh overnight Hotel in Leh

Day: 03

Route: Leh to Nubra via Khardong la top

Place covered : Leh – Khardung La Pass (40 KMs) – Khardung Village (34 KMs) – Khalsar (23 KMs) – Diskit (19 KMs)- Hunder ( 7 KMs) = 123 KMs

Night Stay: Nubra, Hotel/Camp (10,000 i.e. 3250mts)

Distance/Time Taken: 125Km.(4-5hrs one way Approx)

After breakfast, start driving towards Nubra Valley situated in the north of Leh, at about 10,000 feet above sea level. The road, which climbs up and over the Khardung La, at approximately 18,380 feet, is believed to be the highest motorable road in the world. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif.  After crossing the Pass, you will see Khardung village, stop for lunch at Khardong or Khalser and cross Deskit (the main villages of Nubra valley). Get engrossed in this colourful valley of flowers. Spend the night in hotel Eveing , you may see a Double Humped, Hairy and Bactrian Camels. Overnight stay Nubra Valley( Hunder)

Day: 04

Route: Hunder - Turtuk – Hunder  Full day Local Sightseeing  (9846 i.e.3000mts)

Place Covered: Hunder -Thoise ( airbase) 15 KMs - Changmar 33KMs –Bogdang 15 KMs - Turtuk 25KMs

Distance/Time Taken: 90 km one way (7-8 hrs including Sightseeing)

Today, you’ll travel to Turtuk. Located on the India-Pakistan border, it is a small village on the banks of the Shyok River with unparalleled natural beauty. The place is culturally, linguistically and historically different from what you’ve seen till now in your Ladakh holiday as it falls under the Gilgit-Baltistan region. Even the landscape is different with dramatic narrow valleys and steep mountains, unlike Central Ladakh and Nubra. Comparatively, situated at a lower altitude than Leh, you’ll see green pastures here that yield fresh produce like apricots and apples technically falls in Baltistan- the Balti region of Pakistan & was annexed by India during the 1971’ war. Spend the rest of the day walking around and interacting with the locals- the whole feel is like being in Pakistan but rest assured the locals are very friendly & patriotic towards India. Explore village and back to Nubra valley ( Hunder) overnight in Hunder

Day: 05

Route / Place Covered : Hunder – Diskit Village ( 7KMs) – Khalsar Village(26 Kms) – Agham (31 KMs) – Shyok Village (48KMs) – Durbuk(18 KMs) – Tangtse (9KMs) – Pangong Tso(34KMs)

Night Stay: Pangong, camp /Hotel (14270 i.e 4350 mts)

Distance/Time Taken: 150 km (5-6 hrs one way Approx)

After having scrumptious breakfast, we check-out from Camp or hotel and drive towards Diskit along the sand dune where you can ride on a bactrian camel (double humped) amidst the sand dunes of this high altitude desert with snowcapped mountains on the horizon. On the return stop at Diskit which is the headquarter town of Nubra Valley. Stroll around the bazaar observing the shops and local people going about their daily chores. Diskit is famous for old Buddhist Monastery, situated magnificently on a hilltop, facing the entire Valley. Later we drive towards Pangong Tso via Agham & Shyok Valley. Some of the road patches in areas are extremely tough (towards nubra side) in terms of road conditions but no doubt the journey is very scenic! Later we drive further towards Durbuk & Tangtse for Pangong you pass through few small villages of Changthang and finally you can enjoy this amazing view of the Pangong Lake situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 133 Kms long with half of it’s running the other side of the "Indo China Border". Upon arrival we check-in at Camp near Pangong Lake. Its magical to see the changing hues of Pangong Lake with the variation in the Sun intensity … Listen to the waves lapping the shores, watch the migratory birds and see the sun fade away at the horizon .. Whether it is a moon lit night or star studded night … The night sky is brilliant in Pangong .. One can spend hours looking at the sky …  ( Loose Fuel Available in the market ) . Pangong Lake, a highest salt water lake in the world, shared by two countries India (25%) and China (75%), enjoy the beauty of Lake on banks of the Lake while appreciating the changing colours of fascinating high altitude Lake. Day: 06

Route: Pangong Lake to Hanle

Place covered: Pangong Lake ( spangmik ) – 12 KMs- Maan Marak-28 KMs- Chushul – 53KMs -Tsaga village – 73KMs - Hanle

Night stay: Pangong, Hotel/Guesthouse Altitute: (14,764 i.e. 4500 mts)

Distance/Time Taken: 163 km one way (6 to 7 hrs including Sightseeing)

After breakfast we will go the famous point (3 Idiot) at Pangong lake, enjoy the photo shoot at the lake, Be ready with your cameras to click memorable photos. The view in morning will take your breath away. After some fun at lake, start journey toward Hanle, Todays ride will be very challenging as its less travelled road and terrain is tough too with mix of good and bad roads. We will cross Maan, Merak and head toward Chushul (Get your permits checked and proceed further. This route will take you through places like Rezang La and Tsaga, sites where Indian Army battled with China. Traveling through Changthang Valley is that you get to explore more and this route is one of the most scenic places in all of Ladakh. Only Indian nationals get ILP (Permits) for this route, foreigners are strictly not allowed on this. After crossing Mahe bridge reach Hanle. Hanle is a very beautiful small village. Evening visit to the Hanle observatory and Monastery. enjoy dinner with overnight Stay.

Day: 07

Route: Hanle to Tsomoriri

Place covered: Hanle – 50 KMs- Lomo -30KMs – Nyoma- 20 KMs- Mahe- 60 KMs- Korzok– 53KMs –Tsomoriri ( Korzok)

Night stay: Tsomoriri, Hotel/Guesthouse Altitute: (14, 836.e. 4522 mts)

Distance/Time Taken: 160 km one way (6 to 7 hrs including Sightseeing)

Start journey in morning after breakfast to Tso-Moriri- Mighty, endless, abundant, clear, beautiful and pure. Tso-Moriri is a high altitude mountain lake at a height of around 4500 m. Although its not as big as PangongTso, but beautiful enough to take your heart away. Halt for Tea in mid. Stay overnight with dinner at Hotel/camp.

Day: 08

Route: Tsomoriri to Leh

Place covered: Tsomoriri – 50 KMs- Puga valley -36KMs – Tsokar – 54 KMs- Tanglang la- 61 KMs- Upshi – 49KMs- Leh

Night stay: Leh, Hotel Altitute: (11562 ft i.e. 3524 mts)

Distance/Time Taken: 250 km one way (6 to 7 hrs including Sightseeing)

The day will start with a drive to Mahe village, a picturesque village with spurting fountain and white clouds hanging upon. From there, you will proceed towards Puga Valley, famous for Butan gas. Thereafter, you will continue towards Tsokar via Polokongka pass (at 13500 ft.). After visiting the Tsokar Lake, you can also see Thugke gomp. The place is quite known for wild Asses, seen grazing and moving in flocks. From here, you will drive towards Leh. On the way, you will stop to Tanglangla pass, the second highest motorable pass in the world at 5350 m. after, arriving in Leh; you will retire to your hotel.Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel in Leh.

Day: 09

Route: Leh to Airport (Departure)

After breakfast, get transferred to Leh Airport for boarding the flight to your destination. Tour Concludes with some wonderful long-lasting memories.
